Complementary information from analytical imaging and light scattering techniques
Light scattering and analytical imaging techniques such as microscopy provide different but complementary information on any particulate system. The presentation will examine the different basis for each of these techniques and show how the data sets are understandable and self-consistent. We will examine how particles of extreme shapes such as needles are seen in each technique.
