Voyager - Mobile Particle Size Analyzer

Insitec technology for dry powder applications is now available as a neatly packaged mobile particle size analyzer that can be moved easily around the plant for real-time on-line particle size analysis, or for automated at-line measurement. Voyager is especially useful for sites with multiple unit operations such as mills, spray driers and classifiers.

The particle size analyzer uses industry standard laser diffraction.


Process Interface
The Insitec uses a modular system for connection to many different types of process streams.


Automation & control
The automation of the analyzer system and connection to the plant control system is facilitated via Malvern Link, a flexible approach accepting custom user interfaces, and a variety of industrial communication protocols

At-line manual measurements
  • Automated at-line manual sample feeder
  • Dry powder feeder enables samples of powder to be reliably measured on plant, negating the need to wait for laboratory samples to be run.
  • Requires venturi dispersion kit
Dispersion kit
  • 90° ceramic venturi
  • Coaxial venturi (20 mm) for fragile particles
  • Booster. Additional venturi to boost flow just after the process interface for long sample transport lines or where precise sampling is required
