Bohlin stress and strain controlled rheometers
Bohlin's current line of rheological instrumentation include stress and strain controlled rheometers to enable complete viscoelastic characterization of a wide range of materials, from thin fluids to solid like materials over an extremely wide stress, strain and temperature range. Our adaptive Rotonetic drive control technology enables stress and strain control in a single, versatile rheometer enabling complete characterization of a material's viscoelastic properties.

Rosand capillary rheometers
Capillary rheometers are widely used in the polymer industry due to their ability to simulate the high shear rate conditions in many processing operations such as injection molding. Rosand research grade rheometers have a wide variety of unique capabilities such as twin bore designs (for better and faster sample throughput), ability to measure shear viscosity over a wide shear rate range, and ability to measure melt strength and dimensional stability. Bench top capillary rheometers are now available with many capabilities of the research systems, yet designed for more routine use in quality control environments.

Bohlin asphalt rheometers and viscometers
The Bohlin family of asphalt testing rheometers and viscometers enables the characterization of rheological properties of asphalt binders and polymer-modified asphalts. The Bohlin DSRII dynamic shear rheometer was instrumental in the development of the initial SHRP testing protocols and current Superpave methods utilized by US State Departments of Transportation, Federal authorities, contractors and materials producers.
